To you, Mr. Harley Qreeman, we MR. HARLEY FREEMAN 4- Y: Mr. Freeman and friend talk things over. We the class of l96O proudly announce that this year's Cavalcade is dedicated to a man whose sterling qualities are reflected in our school activities. He has given unstintingly of his time and talents to arouse spirit and enthusiasm for good old Clovis High. Under his direction half- times during football seasons for the last seven years have been outstanding in every respect, and spirit at basketball games has been perked up by the Pep Band's spirited music. Each year he has devoted many after-school hours in preparation for our Golden Cougar Band's participation in the All Western Band Revue at Long Beach. He also co- supervises our Maiorettes and Letter Girls, and accordingly, they too have become outstanding in our league. He has cheerfully co-operated with our Pep Girls and Yell Leaders in planning and presenting rallies. The annual spring Band Show, Mardi Gras, was a huge success largely due to his efforts. In short, everywhere there is music, there is our band director, and to you, Mr. Harley Freeman, we dedicate the Caval- cacle of 1960. The band practices for another outstanding halftime performance.
