He is more than willing to do everything possible for them. His official duties are to organize and coordinate the guidance program. MRS. MARION GAINES. Most of the girls at Clovis High have met Mrs. Gaines at one time or another. Always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needs it, Mrs. Gaines has always been u favorite at our school. Besides being a friend, she keeps us informed about scholarships, graduation requirements, and any other academic matters that concern us. MRS, LAURA FISK. A large percentage ol the students don't see Mrs. Fisk very often. She is usually busy easing someone's misery or checking on health conditions around the school. Mrs. Fisk is one person with whom everyone should be acquainted, not iust for medical reasons, but also because she is a delightful person to know. MISS KATHLEEN BOLING. Without Miss Boling our library would not be quite the same. She keeps it neat, clean, and useful, and is always willing to help any student find what he is looking for. Besides her contacts with the students, she receives, marks, and distributes all text books.

You lthe seniorsl are part of an important group who have succeed- ed in reaching one of the steps to success in your lifetime. Approxi- mately forty percent of all students nationally, who enter high school, fail to reach graduation. This success calls for greater responsibility on your part to make our great American Democracy work and thrive. This responsibility is measured by your participation in community civic affairs and state and national affairs. Do a good iob in everything you do and be worthy of the nation's praise, and my wish is for your success and happiness in your personal lives. , ,J 'QQ MR. JACK HOWARD, Vice-Principal MR. GEORGE KASTNER, Principal Congratulations to the Class of l96O and the staff of the Cavalcade. Your devotion to duty has resulted in an excellent year for you all. As you reflect on the past four years, the time has literally flown. Realiz- ing the swiftness by which time actually passes, l urge you all to con- tinue your education. All of you may not be in a position to continue your education in a formal manner, but there is no real place in our government for the uneducated. All of you will have additional oppor- tunities available to increase your learning. As individuals and as a group, continue to strive to seek true knowledge. Again, congratulations and best wishes to you all. N-1 44224 Ci, MR. ROBERT THEILER, Vice-Principal One of the most valued and cherished reminders of the happy moments spent at Clovis High School will be found while reminiscing through the pages of your school annual, the Cavalcade. Here, you will find recorded in picture and prose, the many wonderful facets of school life. You will look back, as the years pass, with a deep feeling of nostalgia, upon the days, which at the time, seemed perhaps to move slowly, but in retrospect you will realize, vanished all too rapidly. To the staff, congratulations are in order for a job well done in keeping the spirit of the yearbook tradition alive at Clovis High School. Appreciation for your work will commence naw and continue to grow as time passes.
