Guidance Counselors Help Students Solve Problems Should I take the business course or the academic course? Do I need four years of English? Which college would be best for a person of my interests? Where can I find employment? These questions can be best answered at C.H.S. by a member of the guidance department. Not only do Mr. Burton and Mr. Shearer help a student organize his class schedule, but they also administer various tests throughout the year to gauge his academic progress and to indicate the type of work in which he would most likely succeed. Also, students often confront the guidance department with problems that they them- selves are unable to solve. Lance Miller (right) works with Mike Slater and Mrs. Ida Mantz at Mack's Food Center.
