Il FOREWORD We have been settled in our new school for two years. The novelty has worn off and our heads are out of the clouds. We are now beginning to realize that a school is something more than bricks and mortar. It is a home of ideals and happiness. We try to set standards and to live up to them. In the 1962 Edition of the Equestrian, we have attempted to recapture the high- lights of the past school. If, from time to time, this book brings you some enjoyment with the retelling of your happy times, then our work will have been worth while. McCOY During the course of our years in high school, we have known many joys and disappointments. Typical of all teenagers, we needed the understanding and guidance which Mr. McCoy has willingly given us. With this in mind, it is indeed a great pleasure for the annual staff to dedicate the 1962 EQUESTRIAN to Mr. McCoy. We hope that this will help to show our appreciation and gratitude toward him.
