N AUGUST, 1919, sixteen determined Freshmen entered C. H. S. We were nervous because of the stories we had heard about the severity of the upperclassmen toward blundering Freshmen, but we lacked a whole lot of being afraid. We were prominent in school activities throughout the whole year. But the ever-striving, ever-advancing urge was upon us. We wanted to see bigger things; we wanted to know what there was in that grander sphere called Junior. The Junior year was a very busy year for us and we also enjoyed it very [ 10 ]
