Harriers Endured Tough Obstacle Courses After competing in the WCC District Meet, Robin Moore and Hershel Manson advanced to the Sectional. Building speed and stamina, which was necessary for the endurance of the 296 mile course, required many hours of roadwork. The Harriers could be seen jogging along the roads-rain or shine! Although their jobs were not glamorous, they were greately appreciated by the coaches. Some of their jobs were keeping the dressing room cleaned, cleaning basketballs, stocking the medical kit with supplies and recording the statistics during the ball games. Student managers were: Jack Yount, Greg Sutherlin, Rick Kennedy and Jim Sutherlin.
