The Audio Visual helpers, under the su- pervision of Mr. Purcell, met a new chal- lenge when they received the new vidio tape recorder which they used to tape bal- lgames and other sports. They also ran films and other audio visual equipment. They were: S. Cassell, J. Farmer, K. Pat- ten, M. Hervey, M. Steele, R. Kennedy, J. Sutherlin. Service Was Their Name Under the supervision of Mrs. Peggy Saucerman, R. N., the Candy Stripers helped to cheer the sick with happy smiles and helping hands at the Putnam County Hospital. They were: Terri Edwards, Valda Edwards, Tammy Campbell, Betsy Jones, Cathy Lee, and Sandy Jones. 30 Helping Mrs. Wilkin- son straighten shelves, file library cards and make bulletin boards is just a part of the jobs of the librarians. Under the direction of Cindy Ernst and Sandy Truax and the watchful eyes of Mrs. Liveoak, stu- dents of the Hi-Lites Staff sold advertising, wrote copy, did layouts, scheduled photographers, and met deadlines, especially deadlines. Becki Nickerson, as Index Editor, made sure every name appeared in the index and their pages were properly indentified. Nancy Stevens, as Senior Edi- tor, planned all the Senior layouts of the Senior Sec- tion in the yearbook. Members of the staff who worked so diligently to sell ads were Kathy Ison, Business Manager, Kristi Lewis and Patty Smith. Nancy Stevens also helped out. Hi-Lites Staff Worked Morning, Noon, and Night Taking subscriptions for the yearbook was quite a job, as Jackie Dugan, and Debbie Rollings found out. How- ever, they sold more subscriptions this year than have been sold in the past years. fu -Q:
