Intensive Lab: Preparation For Future Jobs The Intensive Lab Girls kept busy with typing tests and other material for the administration. There were 17 secretarial stations, 3 which were out-of-school, Rockwell Insurance, Barnett's Fash- ions Ltd., and the new station this year was Clay County RTC. These full-fiedged Thespians worked diligently with the guidance of their sponsors, to produce successful plays for the student body, community, and for self achievements. Reaching their goals were: Front row: Mrs. McKinney, spon- sor, C. Ernst, M. Broadstreet, L. Wells, A. Coffin, B. Knoy and Mr. Purcell, sponsor. Second row: T. Gaddis, R. Dorsett, P. Bailey, J. Farmer, M. Cassida, B. Walton, M. Hervey and K. Cash. Third row: R. Kennedy, T. Pruitt, P. Ziegelman, B. Ebbing, K. Lewis, P. Smith, K. Ison, and K. Patten. Back in the neat Thespian Room, the officers, Marcia Bnoadstreet, Scribeg Peggy Bailey, Scribe, Beckie Knoy, Sec., Myron Hervey, Pres.g and Rick Kennedy V. Pres. relaxed on pieces of furniture handed down through ten years of play productions and memories. Scheming to capture the Court of King Arthur, Le Fay and Merlin went over their plans care- fully. Playing the villainous roles were Senior Thespians, Kathy Ison and Rick Kennedy. 23

To help with club expenses the O.E.A. set up a booth at the Halloween Carnival selling cider and baked goods. District Contest was held in February, Deb- bie Rollings and Nancy Stevens represented our club. Members were: T. Edwards, D. Rollings, B. Cummings, D. Reiter, S. Powell, J. Dugan, T. Gaddis, M. Minnick, C. Lambert, N. Stevens, S. Collins, V. Edwards, P. Hunter, J. Smith, J. Powell, B. Whita- ker, S. Van Winkle, N. Stevens, J. King, S. Truax, K. Ison, P. Smith, K. Lewis, B. Nickerson, M. Yount, M. Broadstreet. l Ofiioers for O.E.A. this year were: Debbie Rollings, Treas urerg Sandy Truax, Vice-Pres., Nancy Stevens, Pres. Patty Smith, Secretary, and Kathy Ison, Historian. The OEA girls were kept busy this year with wrapping Christ- mas presents for the Mental Health Program of Putnam County. In the spring the girls held an Appreciation Banquet for the Advisory Board. On Novem- ber 12 the OEA Officers had the privilege of installing the new Chapter of Cascade High School. After the Installation they en- joyed refreshments. The Cascade . Chapter also presented a beau- tiful potted plant for the In- tensive Oiiice Lab. 25
