MR. T. OLAI HAGENESS OUR DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION If you are a typical student, you no doubt take your school pretty much for granted. However, Our School is not here by chance. It is here because a lot of people are concerned enough about your education to support a school such as this. Just as Our School is not here by chance, we wont no student leaving to chance the extent to which he uses this educational opportunity his community offers. We are happy so many Clover Park students do match the effort of their community with equal effort on their own part to learn all they can, We are proud of you. T. Olai Hageness Superintendent MR. TO THE CLASS OF i96O: During your school career, the school has helped you develop many desirable attitudes and traits of character. Of these, we believe that self-control is the key to vital attain- ments. There are many varieties of self-control. It may be imposed upon us through our families, our churches and the community in which we live and work. There also is the kind of self-control we impose on ourselves for fear of the consequences of our acts. Most important of all though, is the selfcontrol we develop because we desire to achieve a greater good. It is the kind that assures us of the possibility of a better tomor- row because of our self-discipline of today. George Mathew Adams suggests: Each day of our lives we should make a point to do some small thing that we would rather not do - iust as a lesson in education and self- control. Then we will enter the doing of the larger tasks of lite with zest and spirit. Best wishes for a happy and successful lite and may the blessing of God rest on each member of the class. Harold F.
