The Council was made up of iourteen members, eleven elective offices, and three appointive. The Council, at different times during the year, was divided into committees to look into the various possibilities of modifying our student government. Later, a student committee of Al Darby, lack Frost, Io Ann Arsenault and Alex Mahomet was appointed to meet with the faculty and draw up a basic draft to serve as a skeleton constitution. As the year began drawing to a close, anticipation of a gross change was appar- ent to observers.

i,,.f ,N ti Declicotion We have iust passed through one of the biggest years in our lives. Though we may not yet realize it, Clover Park has played an important part in the shaping of our future. The faculty, with their advice and help: the people behind the scenes, from the custodians to the cafeteria and health staffs: all these form the heart and soul of Clover Park. All buildings are make of brickand stone: it is through the people within that they obtain their spirit. To these people we want to say thanks, for the spirit they have given to Clover Park. It is to these people that the 1956 Klahowya is respectfully and humbly dedicated.
