-.4 M DONNA COOPER BOB WINN lunior Class President Sophomore Class President Lg CORIN KUBIS SHARON LINK Eighth Grade President Ninth Grade President LOY ANN McGEE jr High Representative at Large The council s work this summer started the school year with plans for issuing student handbooks to all students The council appointed numerous students for various duties Jim Hubbard was chosen to be safety patrol squad head Erica Schalk accepted the iob of football consessions manager and Sally MCC-ee the iob of basketball concessions manager Lorinda Dana was chosen as assistant treasurer A new undertaking of the Student Council under the leadership of Pat Kennedy was selling printed football programs Madeline Merrtll started her work as social secretary with the successful Cet Acquatnted Dance fol Iowed by the Halloween dance The second annual Homecoming dance was headed by the co chairmen Pat Kennedy and Janice Tveten Three members of the council attended the Student Leaders Conference at the University of Washington The Student Council also had exchange meetings with Puyallup to discuss various problems A most successful year was closed with an informal party given by the council for the incoming Student Body Officers Health Center Besides giving treatments for any sxckness or all ment the health center gives the students who work there good training and background for home nursing first aid clerical work and public relations Under Mrs Burk the head nurse there were eighteen girls who gave up their study halls to con tribute their help Every two weeks there are staff meetings held to talk over the different problems HEALTH CENTER ROW l Wymona Bennett Delta Wiley loAnn Mogs Margie Hall ROW 2 Lael Welfinger Pat Kept Nancy Houghton Donna Maintenance Known to many is the excellent upkeep and clean liness of our school The credit goes to the maintenance crew and tts capable detector Mr Evans Among his numerous duties are the supervision of the custodial work and planning of bus schedules routes and stops Much of the credit goes to the bus drivers who make 23 daily runs with the eight buses covering over 350 miles Smith Bev Wallin ROW 3 Donna Faria Carolyn Evans Liz Terrian SCHOOL CUSTODIANS lim Donnally Warner Cnpp Harold Headley George Wanda Conner Wtcks Mrs Van Norman Bill Coddington Mr Van Norman 7 'im ffl J . , , . . . i i - . . . . t.
