This competition play received the Distinguished Participant Award at District Competition at Powell Valley and was taken to Regional Competition at Clinch Valley College. This play touched the hearts of many and provided a worthwhile lesson. Much was learned by the cast and viewers. The purpose was to give students an opportunity to talk with college officials and get familiarized with the aspects of college. Seniors from Ervinton and Haysi also attended the event.
