For 2 wks. we had worked on 57 that float-and it's a ood f Q thing that it won. lt's the best we'd made, and we've made some pretty great ones which shows through our 3 yr. winning streak. Anyway the next best float was the Jr. float, and that float was a very sad looking monstro- sity. The latin club won again-naturally. They wouldn't even have to enter a float to win. We also took a third place trophy on October 6, when we competed against the squads in. the Bi-County. We took a third place trophy over two Varsity squads. l'll never forget the loojk on Karen Kurow- ski's face when she re- ceived a 4th place in- dividual trophyl.
