Navy Day program, and Commencement. A Girls' Trio was organized at the beginning oJ the second semester, consisting of Opal Chandler, Dana Davenport, and Ruth Hamilton. This trio has appeared fluently on assembly programs and other programs of social interest. Band The State Vocational Training School Band, composed of thirty five members is still unde r tho direction of C. W. Martin. It meets six times each week and 'i_l be in tae Band Clinic, consisting of six other bands, in Leslie, April l7)-ll The Clinic is also under the direction ol Mr. Martin. The members and their ar.inals carried away the usual prizes at the county fair. The chapter will lose twelve members this year by graduation and eight by induction into the armed forces.
