The purpose of this organization is to develop competent, agressive, rural agriculture leadership, to strengthen the confidence of farm boys, to cre- ate and nuturc a love of country life, to improve the country home and its surroundings, to promote and improve scholarship, to advance the cause of vocational education in agriculture in the public schools, and to create more interest in the intell- igent choice of the farming occupation. Hone Economics Club The Home Economics girls have been learning to plan meals, to prepare and to serve thorn on a war tine budget. They have also planned and serve cd one hot dish each day for students who bring their lunch to school. They have studied clothing, handicraft, hone improvement, family relationship, child development, and several girls have started Victory gardens. They have also helped the Red Cross by knit- ting sweaters, making blouses, shirts, and folding bandages. They have nado $38 worth of button holes for the Red Cross.
