Up, Up, and Away! Physical education teaches co-ordi nation, fundamental skills, and sportsmanship. Gymnastics, bas- ketball, and track are the principle activities common to boys' and girls' classes. In addition to these, the boys' classes engage Now! How do we get down? in wrestling and football. Girls' experiment with modern dance and free exercise. This burns me up!

Business courses compile one of the largest departments at Clinton Prai- rie. Students experience the haz- ards of stock markets, the trying of a court case, and the arts of sales- manship. A Multilith Off-set press and three IBM Selective typewriters are the most recent additions to the busi- ness department. Ir. High students sample power me- chanics , metals , plastics , woods , electricity, and drafting in the in- dustrial arts department. Upper- classmen select the areas in which they are most interested to make their respective projects . Juggling the books? Mrs. Virginia Scheirer, school nurs divides her attention between the high school and four elementary schools for general health checks, and informs doctors and families of illnesses . Smith: 2nd Row: D. Krammes. I. Lahrman, H. Smith, H. Dilworth, E. Hoffman, G. Harshman, J Wolf. Not present: M. Crow, J. Davis, J. Hinkle W. Lucas, O. Coffman, G. Timmons. The one department that students take the most for granted is that of maintenance. Orville Stingley, Rus- sell Harshbarger, Verda Thompson, and Iames Bridges Work diligently all day and often late into the eve- ning. Their combined efforts to clean, maintain equipment and heat the school are evident in our spot- less building.
