Many phases of homemaking are available to girls in grades seven through twelve. The backbone of these courses is consumer buying, which branches into clothing, interior decorating, and foods. Crops, livestock, soil, and equip- ment are the significant components of farming. New methods are intro- duced in the classroom that can be applied directly to actual farming. Business courses compile one of the largest departments at Clinton Prai- rie. Students experience the haz- ards of stock markets, the trying of a court case, and the arts of sales- manship. A Multilith Off-set press and three IBM Selective typewriters are the most recent additions to the busi- ness department. Ir. High students sample power me- chanics , metals , plastics , woods , electricity, and drafting in the in- dustrial arts department.
