The Guidance Department advises students, schedules classes and ad- ministers tests to measure the stu- dents' abilities and interests. Pro- grams are planned by the counselors to prepare students for future jobs and education. Mrs. Marian Sims, general secretary, synchronizes the inner workings of the high school office. Her work in- cludes writing tardy passes to being a private secretary. Mrs. Sue Bass handles the extra-curricular funds. This involves the monetary trans- actions for the clubs and or- ganizations in the school. Mrs . Mary Kelly and Mrs. Bet- ty Siekman work as secretaries in the superintendent's office. They are occupied strictly with the immense business of the corporation .

Mr. Eugene Alexander, Superinten- dent of Clinton Prairie Schools , co- s, 2. Ei' . Se. , Mr. Phillip I. McDaniel, principal, is responsible for the complete edu- cational program at Clinton Prairie. He graduated from Indiana State Uni- versity with a B,S. , lVI.S. and has completed one extra year of graduate work. Mr. McDaniel previously ordinates state and school board pol- taught in Indianapolis and was as- icies with the operation of the schools . He graduated with a B.A, and M.S. from Central Normal Col- lege and Purdue University. Functioning as the controlling unit of Clinton Prairie High School, the school board fixes school policies , hires and replaces teachers and ap- propriates funds for the various de- partm ents . sistant principal at Cascade High School. Besides performing his numerous re- sponsibilities as assistant principal Mr. Miller teaches Algebra I. He earned B.P.E. and M.P.E. degrees from Purdue University.
