1951--BIOGRAPHICAL UPDATES--2001 I returned to the U.S. in 1972 and retired from the Air Force. After searching for another career, in 1973 opened a Restaurant and Club in Edmond OK ...... Old Dodge Cityv... located in the Trails End Shopping Center. For the next twelve years we found the long days and nights both rewarding and challenging. My wife and daughters often joined me in the business and contribute greatly to our success. In 1986 we chose to close the Restaurant, mostly due to the changed economy. After becoming a partner in several other endeavors, I was persuaded to join a Kansas agricultural firm that required much travel. In enjoyed the work and people contact, however found the long periods away from home lonely and stressful. I retired for good in 1995 and must admit we enjoy not having a structured routine. Our daughter Deborah married her Baker University beau, lives in Shawnee, Kansas and presented us with a grandson in 1993. Daughter Cynthia lives in Ft Collins, CO and enjoys her career as an Administrative Assistant. I play as much golf as possible and we travel often. Dorothy and I will celebrate our 450' Anniversary this summer and we are planning a trip back to Europe later this year. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Reunion! The first source of water for Clinton was from the nearby Washita River. 1... . 'C G' I A . F..
