I am retired. really retired, in Hugo Oklahoma where I fish and hunt any thing I want and anytime I want which is pretty often. it - Q x X Betta fBowesj Stone 1215 Hayes Clinton. OK 73601 1951 Betta .lane is the daughter ofMr. and Mrs. Dean Bowes, 1215 Hayes. She is a member ofFHA and has participated in glee club-for-four years. Betty fBrehmJ Stephenson 138 Dorsey Place Henderson. NC 27536 1951 lhe daughter ry' Mr. and Mrs. George Brehm, Betty has been a member of the glee club for three years. An active FHA member. she attended the national meeting ofthat organization in Kansas C 'ily Betty has also modeled for John A. Brown in an F114 style show two years ago. 2001 Can't believe it has been 50 years since we graduated and I married the skinny sailor from North Carolina with a deep southem drawl. Steve stayed in the Navy until 1956, during which time we lived in San Diego, Ca. twice and Memphis Tenn. Alter he got his discharge, we moved to Melbourne, Fla. where he was involved in the space program at Cape Canaveral Chow Cape Kemiedyj. I did not pursue a career other than being a wife and mother until my youngest child started kindergarten. I then took a Substitute Teaching course at the local community college and became a substitute teacher until we moved to N.C. in 1971. We have 4 children, Marcia, Michael, Robert, and John. We have tive grandchildren and another due in October 120001. They range in ages from 2 months to 25 years. In 1971. Steve semi retired from the space industry and we moved back to his home land. We bought 26 acres of wooded land Hom his brother and built a home in the country. He was a building contractor and a rural mail carrier. Alter we moved back to N. C.. I took some refresher courses at the college in business. All the typing and bookkeeping that little Mrs. Oster had tried to teach me had kinda escaped my memory. I got a job at one of the Jr. High Schools as a Secretary-bookkccper and remained in the school system as a state employee until 1994 and then retired. I had always enjoyed sewing. reading and walking so have taken up quilting. water aerobics at the YMCA and am active in my church

1951--BIOGRAPHICAL UPDATES--2001 Alter graduating from Muskogee Central High in 195l I enrolled in Oklahoma University and graduated in 1955. ln March, 1954. our first daughter, Becky, was born. As was the norm in those days for the guys, I was in the ROTC and was commissioned a 2 d Lt. in the Army Finance Corp and was on active duty from October 1955 'til September 1957. Most of our days were spent at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. While at San Antonio, our son, Wes, was born in .Iuly 1957. September 1957 ....... Out of the amiy and back to Muskogee, where our youngest daughter, Andrea, was bom in October, 1960. From 1957 to July 1962 I worked for Ann's dad, a cotton merchant and bought and sold real estate. On August 1, 1962, I purchased a small casket manufacturing company QRoyal Casket Co., lnc.j in Muskogee. We struggled to make a living tor several years betbre being in the right place at the right time which made limited success come a little easier. The company has distribution centers in Muskogee and Oklahoma City and a warehouse in Dallas. In 1997 I sold majority interest to my son and started semi-retirement. Enough about me. Ann and I have eight grandchildren. Becky, a single mom, has two girls. Wes and his wife have two boys and Andrea and her husband have two boys and two girls. Ann and l spend a lot of time at our cabin in Colorado. We both enjoy tly- lishing in the surrnner and skiing in the winter. Ann has made several back packing trips in the Colorado motmtains. She is much tougher than me! When in Muskogee, we both play golL enjoy art, antiques and traveling, and we are active in First Baptist Church. l still consider Clinton High School as my alma mater and thank you for including me in out reunions. The Iriends and relationships l made during my life in Clinton will have a place in my heart as long as I am alive, I-sa: Ronnie Bonham Route 2, Box 218 Hugo, OK 74743 C5801 326-2054 1951 An employee of his father 's service station, Ronnie is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hi Bonham. He has been in glee club for-four years and during his freshman year sang with the boys sextelle. Ajier gradualion he plans to continue working. 2001 Alter graduation. I worked as a surveyor at Carswell AB and with the Oklahoma Highway Department. I spent a hitch in the Army as a Paratrooper and served a tour in Germany. When I got out I went back to being a surveyor. Survey tumed into a construction site engineer and in that capacity, I worked many major projects still around today such as the Oklahoma Tumpike. the Hugo dam, and in Kentucky, the Cave Run dam, One of my last jobs was with the City of Tulsa constructing their new water plants in 1991. I have one daughter, who lives in Miami and one granddaughter. I have lived in Oklahoma. Qstill dol. Kentucky. and Colorado and in Houston

In 1995, my beloved husband of 45 years died after years of declining health. Life without him has been a diliicult adjustment but my kids are strong people and very supportive. I have turned the farm over to my yotmgest son and have moved to town so please note my current address. I look forward to seeing you in 2001. If the Lord be willing and the creek don 't rise. Winnie Mae fBrowningj Winnett Deceased 1951 Winnie Mae Browning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H E. Browning, 444 South Seventeenth has attended Clinton schools for her entire education. While in High school, her favorite subjects have been typing and shorthand and Winnie Mae wants to continue study of this type in a business college after graduation. Her ambition is to become a stenographer. 1985 Winnie Mae Browning Winnett, 52, died in August, 1985 in St. Louis, Missouri. After she had graduated from Clinton High School in 1951. she worked for Charles Oliver in the movie theater. In 1954 she met and married David M. Winnett of Colbert, Oklahoma. David was a supervisor with Westem Electric Company. Following David's two-year stint in the Army that took them to Georgia and Illinois, the couple lived in Southwest Oklahoma City until a promotion in 1969 took them to Ellisville, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. Winnie Mae had worked in the Kenny Skaggs Tag Agency while in Oklahoma City and in the Dental Clinic of Dr. Andrew G. Mitchell in Ellisville. Winnie Mae and David had two boys, Michael David, 45, of Wildwood, MO, and Mark Allen, 43, of Marion, OH. Both are graduates of the University of Missouri-Rolla and both have successful careers. There are tive grandchildren, three boys and two girls. Her family has expressed sincere best wishes for all Winnie Mae's classmates at the fiftieth anniversary celebration.
