Tim Sherman, and Lance Duncan Congratulations Drent Honorable Mention: All-State In A Class Of Our Own A ren'r you a Junior?' No! I'm a Senior, and don't you forger it! What's wrong with being o Junior, or a Sophomore or even a Freshman for that matter? Any underclassman will say that he is as good or better than any Senior, while Seniors feel their twelve years of schooling give them the right to higher acclaim. A student's ideas about who is best change abng with his classification; he rhinl-s that just because he is a Senior, or Junior, or Sophomore, or Freshman, that his class is best! Doesn't everyone do it? The Seniors rake on the big brother attitude to the underclassmen, and feel they are the ones who deserve all the privileges or the famed word, seniority. After all, the Seniors have been in school for twelve long years, and this final year mokes it or breaks it - college for o career, or work for a living. However, the Juniors are only one step behind, and one lost year will trade for senior privileges and at last, the graduation march. But in every high school, there has to be the new Freshmen, the youngin's for the higher classmen. The students to fill in where the Juniors and Seniors leave off; to rake last place and get the leftovers. In time, they too will be the Seniors with the seniority and feel they are the best . We may all become in a quibble of who is the best and who should go first, bur it's just a matter of pride in the doss to which we belong. After all, we ore all In a class of our own .
