THE MAINTENANCE FRONT ROW: Homer Treat, Ernest Smith, Gene Knoble, Dan Boone, Dickie Lefler, George Saffle. BACK ROW: Orville McEntire, Landon Bonds, Gerald Emerson, Billy Crow, Thomas Simmons. Not pictured: Loyal Smiley, Ralph Hutto, Gerald Derryberry is the custodian at grade school. It is his job to see that the school is kept clean and orderly. This is a big job because the wee ones seem to make big messes. Mary Gray, Venida Estes, and Grace Beavers are the cooks who provide the nourishing meals at grade school. They are dedicated to seeing that the young ones maintain a proper diet. 14
