FOR THEIR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES SOCIAL STUDIES MATHEMATICS This class in Algebra I is just one of five courses in mathe- matics offered at C.H.S. Others include basic math, geometry, Algebra n and trigonometry. Before the second bell rings, everybody talks to his neighbor. But after the bell, Mr. Rose takes over the discussion and the topic turns to American history. Besides this required subject, students may also take world history, economics, or American government. PHYSICAL EDUCATION MUSIC The senior girls' basketball team, shown here playing against Shirley, is only one of Clinton's various athletic teams. Basketball for boys and girls and football are open to students on the senior, junior, and peewee level. The band, shown here during its February assembly program, is an essential part of the music program. Classes in music appreciation and chorus round out and enrich the program. 11
