Class History We, the members of the class of 1957, entered Clinton High School in September 1953, eager to start our high school careers. Later on, we lost one of our members. Our Student Council representatives were Carlene Bessey and John McLellan. The first event was our Freshman Initiation and Reception, an event we will always remember. Representing our class on the basketball teams were; Carlene Bessey, Alberta Proctor, Constance Weymouth, Eleanor Drew, John Tapley, Lawrence Pooler, Gary Foss, Scott Howard, John McLellan, and Leroy Hunter. Richard Beale was one of the managers. There were four cheerleaders from our class: Beverlv Gerald, Janet Starbird, Antoinette King, and Beryl Rediker. We put on a play entitled The Devilstone with the following in the cast: Helen York, Constance Weymouth, Janet Starbird, Johnny McLellan, Scott Howard, and Gerald Watson.
