Coach Boston's charges had a very successful season with a 5 won and 2 lost record. C. H. S. trackmen defeated Perrysville, St, Bernice, Dana, and State High. They took the county championship for the third year in a row losing only to Shulte in the first meet of the season and dropping the Cayuga relays by a four point margin. The C.H.S. baseball team completed a successful season with 4 wins and 2 losses The team showed much power both offensively and defensively. Louis Gioy an1n1 helped offensively, as well as defensively with his batting average of . 500 and 10 hits. Xt the end of the season Tom Solomon led with home runs and runs batted in. Louis Giovanini received the Most Valuable Player award for 1957.
