THE CLASS HISTORY OF THE SENIOR CLASS OF I953 A great multutude of pale luttle chartreuse muce carefully tup toed up the huge steps of the over powerung Sensor Hugh School buuldung back un the early Induan Summer of I949 We scarcely dared breathe as we scampered past Mrs Johnsons OFFICE Bug-eyed we were pushed from room to room- assembly to gym up the wrong staurs un and out of doors by that great hurryung mass of UPPER CLASSMEN But slowly we seeped unto the heart ofthe schools and memoruzed the name of every kud older than we lusl Then un I952 we were assugned seats un the assembly not the wondrous seats by the wundows of the SENIORSI but we were on our way We had learned a Iuttle- fer unstance how to chew gum and only get caught 752: ofthe tume how to go to the Iubrary 6 tumes a week how to throw pennues up and down the ausles un 7th perlocl assembly and true to form most of us were kuckecl out of class at least once durung the year Our lucky teachers regarded us as luttle presents from Through the uncondutuonal surrender of our teachers most of us became Junuors We never dreamed that un only a few blunks of Father Tumo s eye we would be out of school into the cruel world We worked luke Iuttle mad dogs sellung magazunes we bought our own class rungs and began wearung A class rung we gave SEVENTEENTH SUMMER we labored long hours on our present to the Senuors of 52 the OPEN .lunuor Senuor Prom Neptune s Court But we always had one heck of a good tume Funally we Freshman muce have matured unto Senuor rodents However suttung un those long awaited seats by the wundows most of us have done some long thunkung WHAT?
