STANDING: Archie Ruatto, President, and Louis Tasso, Vice President SEATED: Miss Porter, Sponsor; Marie Corrado, Secretary; Dorothy Hennis, Treasurer; and Mr. Burton, Sponsor SENIOR CLASS HISTORY What ? Four years ? It can’t be, but it is. Yes, we, the class of ’51 have had four years of work, fun, and friendship here at C. H. S. Our freshman year seems like a faraway dream when we stop to think. Let’s see, how in the world did we ever figure out all those room numbers and hallways ? After getting our bearings, we selected the following class officers: President, Joan Christopher; Vice-President, Wayne Farrington; Secretary-Treasurer, Martha Jones; Sponsors, Mrs. Schelsky and Mr. Bibich. A sophomore already! ! ! Golly, how that freshman year flew! This year as we gaze at the juniors and seniors we say, “Gee, to be only a little bit older!’’ But then we come down to earth and go on with our class activities which con- sist partly of electing these class officers : President, Marilyn Giacoletto; Vice- President, Marie Corrado; Secretary, Melvin Kelley; and Treasurer, Betty Dooley. Our sponsors were Mrs. Gerrish and Mr. Bibich. Juniors! ! ! Our prom, Cinderella’s Ball, seemed to be out of a fairy book. It was a beautiful sight. Leo Baxter played and Joan Lawson was queen. Our class play was “The Baby Sitter.” Officers were: President, Barbara Ray; Vice-President, Georgia Remler; Sec retar y, Mar ie Corrado; Treasurer, Dottie Hennis; Sponsors, Miss Porter and Mr. Marietta. Now we are reaching the end. We'll all remember the wonderful times we have had together. Our class play,“Off a Pewter Platter” was lots of fun to pro- duce and a great success. The Senior Picnic, Baccalaureate, and finally Com- mencement will mark the end of our class activities before we say good-bye to Clinton High School. Compliments of: The H. R. Mills Company P«k - 22
