Cyan vfdhozy Audrey Hause In September of 1943 an eager lot of Freshmen began the1r hlgh school careers At our flrst class meetmg the followmg offlcers were elected presldent Kathleen Lemm V109 presldent Bob Seldel secretary J 1m Hmdes treasurer Audrey Hause Our OfflCl3l gulde for the year was MISS Gall Martm Dur1ng the year our soclal agenda conslsted of four partxes We wound up our glorlous year as Freshmen w1th a p1cn1c at W amplers Lake The fall of 44 looked on a carefree bunch of Sophomores We elected the followmg off1cers for the year pres1dent D1ck Stem v1ce presldent Kenneth Woodward treasurer J1m Hmdes secretary Palmer Kroh Mrs Lucllle Dllno was our 'advlser but Mrs Sage later took her place The great event of th1s year was a m1nst1el show staged by the Sophomore class Mrs Campbell helped us 1n preparlng the show and xt was a blg success Durmg th1s year we rece1ved our class rings Thls year also was brought to a close wlth a p1cn1c at Wamplers Lake September of 1945 looked upon a group of broke but determmed Junlors At our flrst class meeting we elected offlcers for our Junlor year who were presldent Norm Randall v1ce presldent Palmer Kroh secle tary Mlldred Garrlson treasurer Helenann Waterman and Advlser Mr Fox In November we presented our Junlor play Mlstakes at the Blakes It was a great success and drew a large crowd On May 10 the Jumors gave thelr annual trlbute to the Senlors the J umor Prom We decxded on the wh1te rose as our class flower Excelslor as the motto fwhlch has slnce been changedl and blue and sxlwer as the class colors P1pe Dreams was the theme of the prom and the gym was gay ln lts decoratlons of balloons bubbles and plpes Jerry Edwards orchestra furnlshed the muslc To Wlnd up the school year the Jumors and Senlors held a p1cn1c at Wamplers Lake Our Senior year began on a note of sorrow Durmg the flrst week of school we were deeply grleved by the death of Bob Holmes At our fxrst class meetmg of the year we chose the followmg offlcers presldent Robert Gaecke v1ce presldent John Way secretary Dorothy Neblo treasurer Geraldlne Anglemyre and our chlef Albert Fox At the begmnlng of the year we earned a b1t of cash through the sale of magazme subscrlptxons The gxrls and boys d1v1ded xnto teams and the boys as wmners were treated to a wonderful dmner prepared by the glrls On November 21 and 22 the Sen1or play Good Nlght Ladles was presented to an appreclatlve audlence who declared It to be a great success Sen1or plctures were taken and all proved to be very good Every one looked forward to the Sen1or Tr1p whlch was scheduled to take place May 25 to 31 Baccalaureate was June 1 and Commencement followed on lune 5.
