We entered our Junior year filled with excitement. The first thing on the agenda was to elect class officers, Amy Christie was elected President, Kim Grady as Vice-President, Leslie Despotopulos as Secretary, and Beth Frost as Treasurer. The weeks passed and it was time for us to sponsor Spirit Week. It was a very busy week and at the conclusion was our long awaited Homecoming Dance. We participated in Interclass Dramatics for the second time. Our play was “Terror Stalks The Night” in which Mary Jane Pizza won an award for Best Supporting Actress. The months went by quickly, April soon arrived, and our first formal dance was upon us. The Junior Prom was held on April 29, 1983. After that the last months of our Junior year flew by. As the year came to an end, we realized that we would no longer be underclassmen. Our time had finally come! HOME STRETCH

FINISH LINE It’s finally here, our Senior year. We looked forward to this year when we were Freshman, but as time passed and we found ourselves as the leaders of the school, there were many mixed emotions. The anticipation of going to college or work inspired in us a sense of determination to reach out and achieve our goals. Our class pulled together to make a good showing in Spirit Week, and our two new advisors, Mrs. Galeski and Mr. Balvin helped us plan many successful events and fund-raisers. Our Hop, Banquet, and Class Trip brought many laughs, but the realization that we were leaving brought many tears, and our Baccalaurate and Graduation finally made us realize the beginning of our new lives. As the year drew to a close we accepted our diplomas with new hope for the future and many remembrances of our short high school career. We will cherish this year for many more as it held so very many special memories.
