WE’VE GOT TONIGHT The highlight of the Fall of our Junior year was our Homecoming Dance, which took place on October 30, 1982. It came at the conlusion of a very hectic and enthusiastic Spirit Week. We danced all night to the music of Crossing. Through the efforts of the decorating committee the cafeteria was magically transformed. Before we knew it the night was quickly ending, the time came to choose tne Queen and her court. Angela Clougherty was selected Queen. The members of her court included Maria Cardillo, Carol Regonini, Betty-Jo Parker, Lisa Carassai, Heather Timledge and Patty Murphy. J

AROUND THE TURN As Sophomore year came around our class felt more comfortable and secure in the high school. Our first order of business was to elect class officers. Amy Christie was elected as president. Robert Mitchell Vice-President, Leslie Despotopulos Secretary, and Beth Frost Treasurer. Mrs. Boroweic was appointed our new class advisor to take the place of Mrs. Trapp. We were familiar with the Spirit Week activity and this year we were exposed to Interclass Dramatics for the first time. Our play was “It’s Cold In Them Thar Hills’ . Beth Frost won an award for Best Supporting Actress. Our class activities included raffles and bake sales. With the help of local merchants, we held a fashion show at the Clinton Middle School which was a success. All these activities had brought our class closer together over the last year. We looked forward to the next two years with excitement.
