On the night of May 14, 1982 we found ourselves amidst our first formal at Alfonse ' s Powder Mill in Maynard. The event was accented by the echoing sounds of Jericho , and the time ticked slowly by. Before the nights end howev- er, the queen and her court were chosen. Queen of this special event was Jerilyn Rauscher, and the members of her court included Tracey Nee, Sally Pupecki, Jennifer Hallinan, Juliana Naughton, Wendy Vosburg, and Cindy Purchase.

“Movin’ On Up” We started the year off at full speed with our newly elected Officers: Presi- dent — Angela latrou, Vice-President — Jill Bailey, Secretary — Kathleen Hazel, and Treasurer — Nancy Mitchell. Although we were sad about our freshman advisor, Miss Tassone, leaving the school we were relieved at the ap- pointment of another very dependable leader. Miss Stark. We quickly became comfortable with one another, welcom- ing Miss Stark with our friendship. With her help, along with Mr. Davidson ' s we were able to sponsor various fundraisers such as bake sales, selling carnations (at the Thanksgiving Day game) and a very successful flea market. Our class play Why Teachers Go Nuts was a smash, thanks to a laboring cast and our helpful advisors. We were very proud of them and especially Charlie Murphy, who walked away with the award for best-supporting actor re- sulting from his outstanding perfor- mance. With these activities, along with Spirit Week we became very busy as a class that year and learned a lot about the meaning of team work.
