JUNIOR YEAR We knew that the time was passing quickly so we jumped right into our Junior Year landing on both feet. We re-elected the Class Officers from the previous year, but chose as our Student Council Representatives; Mary Jo Garofoli, George Hutchinson and Stephen Lipka. With their help, we organized our first Formal Homecoming Dance on October 28, 1978; and this was made extra special due to our victory over Milford. Moving along the Junior road we came upon our second try at Inter-Class Dramatics. Our persistence payed off in our super per- formance of “Run, Robber, Run in which Hope Lucci and Joseph Welch received awards for best supporting actress and actor. The highlight of the year, however, would have to be the arrival of our long awaited Junior Prom on May 18, 1979. The Bull Run in Shirley served as host for this, the most memorable night of our high school year. Before we knew it, we once again found ourselves at the close of another year. We had three good years to look back upon but most importantly we knew the best was yet to come!

Senior Interclass Dramatics — A VICTORY! After three years of competing in Inter- class Dramatics, we picked up many skills, and perfected our acting abilities which re- sulted in a victory for our senior year. Many hours were spent rehearsing and having fun together, and if we had a chance to do it all again — we would! For our performance of Hello, I ' m From Another Planet , Joseph Welch was awarded Best-Supporting Actor for his por- trayal of Carson Zoobacker and Patrick Ball was recognized as the Best Actor for his per- f ormance as Bo Carson. Other cast members in the winning play were; Peter Kovac as Samuel Flash Gordan, Patricia Lowe as Miss Carlisle, Hope Lucci as Laura Nelson, Maria Marioni as Luella Zoobacker, Melanie Parsons as Ronda Johnstone, and Carolyn Pasquale as Carmella Erchinger.
