As freshmen, we encountered many new friends, and learned many beneficial lessons. We found out that de- spite all we knew, there was so much more that we still had to learn and do. We had our first class project, a flea market, which incorporated the help of our entire class. It was a huge success! To start us on our way, we elected our Class Officers, Paul Garofoli — President; Daniel Gleason — Vice president; Lee Gosselin — Secretary; and Brian Lynch — Treasurer. Student Council repre- sentatives were Pat Sheridan and Julie Moore.

We started in right by electing Joe Hoag, Diane Gadomski, Lee Gosse- i lin, and Barbara Gleason as our class officers. Our activities, under the direction of our advisors, included the great success of our New England Patriots vs C.H.S. faculty basketball game. In December we displayed for the first time our ( acting abilities in Interclass Dramatics. We presented our comedy skit entitled Capricious Pearls. We anticipated the coming of our Junior year since we would receive our Class Rings we would become closer united as a whole, to the class of ' 78.
