Junior Year Interclass Dramatics - A VICTORY It ' s Cold in Them Thar Hills was a tremendous success. The class of 1977 not only won the best play award but also received the best actress award — Lisa Paulino; best actor — Paul O ' Mal- ley; best supporting actor — Paul Iacobucci. We really owe much of our thanks to Huburt, a pig, and two chic- kens that we were able to borrow from a local farm. The competition was tough, but because we had terrific support from our classmates, the class of 1977 met and conquered the challenge. 10

Homecoming Dance On November 8, 1975, the Junior Class held their first formal dance in the school cafeteria. After long hours of decorating, the cafeteria was transformed into a ballroom. We all became the Cinderellas and Prince Charmings for the evening. The Queen and her Court were chosen to be Jean Lamlein (Queen), Mary Conney, Noreen Gonyea, Gail McLaughlin, Jackie Roberts, Lynne Gallagher and Christine Lamb. The music was provided by Bittercreek. After much dancing, eating, and simply enjoying ourselves, the night ended and it was time to go home. If only it could have lasted longer! 9

On May 28, 1976 one of the most nostalgic events of our high school years took place at the Sheraton-Lincoln Inn. Our theme was Over the Rainbow, which was per- fect for the day we had for our Prom. This day will always be a shining mo- ment in our lives, espe- cially for those who com- plemented our class as the Queen and Court. The an- ticipation was as exciting as the event. Even now that it ' s over it was a beau- tiful evening we shall never forget. The Queen was: Lynne Gallagher. The girls chosen to be in the Court were: Jean Lam- lein, Mary Lynch, ■ Marilyn Coyne, Ree Ricker, Noreen Gonyea, and Lisa Mallard. 11
