PAUL CLIFTON GENTSCH Paul is one of the more quiet members of our class and is a staunch supporter of class ventures. Paul is quite an avid hobbyist; his model train layout is quite impressive to say the least. After graduation, it appears he will continue his hobby on a large scale, entering the construction field. Best wishes for success and happiness from the class of ’65. Tau Sigma, Junior Prom Committee. JAMES BRIAN GEORGE Here we have “Jim,” who is better known to his friends as “George.” One of the more popular boys in the class, “George” has made many friends at C.H.S. Liking sports, “George” chose football to show his athletic ability. Although seldom seen with books, he has managed to keep good grades. “George” has not revealed his plans for the future, but we know with his friendly manner he will be a success in whatever he chooses. Tau Sigma, Junior Prom Committee, Math Club, Student Council, Football 1, 4. JOSEPH VICTOR GIANSANTE An introduction to “Joe” is unnecessary for he is known and well liked by every- one. With his ready friendliness, he has won himself a host of friends at C.H.S. This can be proven by the fact that he has been elected class treasurer all four years of high school. His plans for the future are indefinite but the Class of “65” knows he will succeed in any field he pursues. Tau Sigma, Junior Prom Committee, Math Club, Class Treasurer, Football, Base- ball, Basketball. BARBARA ANN GIANSANTI “Barb” is a cute miss who can always be found where there is fun and excitement. She is one of our most popular girls and has proved this by being our class secretary for three years. She is one of our senior twirlers and a loyal supporter of our team. With all Barbara’s fine qualities the Class of ’65 knows she will succeed in her future plans. Kappa Delta Phi, Junior Prom Committee, Class Secretary 2, 3, 4, Thanksgiving Show 3, 4, Science Fair, Student Council 1, 2, 3, 4, Gregg Artist Awards, Twirlers 2, 3, 4, Pep Club 3, 4. j ' I PAUL LAWRENCE GIANSANTO i Now here’s Paul, who needs no introduction for he’s a man of wit and charm. He knows just the time a joke is sorely needed and makes friends wherever he goes. His favorite pastime is playing pool which he plays quite well, for he was in a 1 tournament and did rather well for himself. Although his job takes up much of his time, he still does well enough in his school work and has the time to entertain his friends with his sense of humor. Paul hasn’t revealed his future plans to us as yet, but the Class of ’65 sends best wishes to him and we know that he’ll make his mark in the world. Tau Sigma, Junior Prom Committee. 27

JOHN LAWRENCE EOX Everyone in the senior class knows him by “Foxy,” as he is usually called. John is unemployed at the present but has a partime job every now and then. He plans on entering college in the fall and take up Physical Education. His outside activities include his great participation at American Turners Gymnastics. For the fu ture the class of “65” wishes him great success. Tail Sigma, Junior Prom Committee, Science Fair. CHRISTINE ELLEN FREEL “Chris” is a short unhurried miss, who bubbles over with pep and personality. Popular with everyone she has a large circle of friends. The class of ’65 wishes you, Christine, the best of luck in all your future endeavors. Kappa Delta Phi, Junior Prom Committee, Gregg Artist Award, Pep Club. KAREN JANE GANNON Willingness and prettiness just seem to blend perfectly with Karen. An attractive senior miss with a friendly disposition and a vivacious personality, Karen has acquired a host of friends during her high school years. One of our energetic cheerleaders, she could al ways be seen at all our sports activities. That, however, did not interfere with her studies, for she has continuously maintained her name on the honor roll. We know that Karen will make a conscientious and excellent teacher. The Class of ’65 wishes her luck and success in her future endeavors. Kappa Delta Phi, Junior Prom Committee, Co-editor of the Yearbook, Latin Club, Junior Marshall, Vice-President 1, Student Council, Inter-class Dramatics, National Honor Society, Cheerleader, Pep Club, Thanksgiving Show, Science Fair. MARY PATRICIA GAUGHAN Pat, “Fuz” as she is sometimes called, is noted for her friendly disposition and wonderful personality. She has been an active participant in extra-curricular activi- ties and can always be found where there is fun or a good time to be had. Pat will always be remembered for her constant laugh and her sense of humor, which have won her an array of life-long friends. Pat has chosen hairdressing as a career and the Class of ’65 wishes her success. Kappa Delta Phi, Junior Prom Committee, Business Staff of Yearbook, Latin Club, Pep Club, Science Fair, Thanksgiving Show. EDWARD PAUL GAW “Ed” is one of the North-ends finer contributions to C.H.S. WAYNE NEIL GILCHRIST An introduction to Wayne is unnecessary for he is liked by all his classmates. With a ready friendliness and a sense of humor he has won a host of friends. Wayne came to us from Nashoba and has been a welcome addition to the football team. He has displayed his great ability, not only on the gridiron, but also on the basketball court and the track oval. Even though he is active in sports and social activities he still manages to maintain a better than average grade. His immediate ambition is to attend college after graduation. Best of luck in the future is ex- tended to him from the Class of ’65. Tau Sigma, Junior Prom Committee, Math Club, Executive Staff of Yearbook, Boys State, Student Council 4, Football 3, 4, Basketball 3, 4, Track 3, 4, Science Fair 3, 4. JOSE ENRIOUE GONZALEZ Jose is a senior who is really going places — on his Vespa Motor scooter. He enjoys listening to the radio and playing records in his spare time, which isn’t much because he works full time after school at Van Brode’s. However, he has managed to attain honor marks throughout his four years at C.H.S. He is a tine player to have on a baseball team, having supplied many “thrills” with his “Willie Mays basket catch.” Jose is taking the commercial course and plans to serve in the Peace Corps. Best of luck from the class of ’65. Tau Sigma, Junior Prom Committee, Executive Staff of Yearbook. VIRGINIA LOUISE GOODALE Now we come to “Ginny” one of our most carefree senior girls. During her four y ears she has gained many life long friends. She can be seen at all of the football games and school functions. Ginny is full of fun and excitement. Her plans for the future arc to become a medical secretary and we, the class of ’65, wish her the best of luck. Kappa Delta Phi, Junior Prom Committee, Math Club, Glee Club, Pep Club, The Gael. KATHLEEN ANN GOULDING Always a smile, always a laugh, it could be none other than Kathie, an attractive miss who hails from Union Street. She is one of the neatest and best dressed girls in the senior class, and she is known for her cheerful manner and usual smile. Kathie can be seen working behind the counter at Hasting’s Drug Store. She plans to further her education in the secretarial field. With her wit and personality the Class of ’65 is sure she will make the best of her education. Kappa Delta Phi, Junior Prom Committee, Glee Club, Pep Club 3, 4, The Gael, Science Fair. GAIL ANN GUIDI Gail is a good-natured, amiable girl, popular with both teachers and classmates alike. She is one of our C.H.S. cheerleaders and can be seen at all school sports cheering the team on to victory. Gail is also one of the more loquacious members of our class. This may be attributed to the fact that she is constantly talking with people while working at Guidi’s Bakery. She plans to enter the teaching profession after graduation and we wish her all the success in the world. Kappa Delta Phi, Junior Prom Committee, Executive Staff of Yearbook, Inter- class Dramatics, Cheerleader 4, Pep Club 3, 4, Softball 3, Thanksgiving Show 1, 2, 3, 4, Latin Club, Science Fair. 28
