Sophomores are second to none Members of the Class of 1984 won second place this year in the Homecoming Parade with their float, “Sentence Pontiac to a Defeat.” Later in the fall, sophomores organized a raffle to raise money for the class treasury. Winners of the raffle received groceries from I.G.A. Bruce Walden won $100 in groceries, Bessie Chandler $75 and David Rainwater, $50. David Todd won $20 for selling the most tickets.
