On April 7, 1979 the National Honor Society sponsored a dance as a money making project. The commons was decorated with umbrellas and tissue paper flowers to follow the theme, “April Showers.” Cypress and the Miami Horns played a variety of music for the attending couples, and free refreshments were donated by N.H.S. members. “April Showers”
