We're the cream of the school, both lad and lass, We have done our work and finished the fightg Tho the way has been rough, we've won all right. We've pulled together through our high school days, You see, pulling together always pays. No class has ever had more fun than we, Each member always jolly and carefree. There's Bettie Herring, our president, You'll often find her desk for rent. She likes to sit in the desk with Louise, And talk to Molton,-he's such a tease We must now present our Jolly Banner, This goes to our Comedienne, Marianna. Mildred and Leona are the Angels of the class, So we never give them a bit of our sass. Thomas Landon, of course is our class Sheik, He's a great admirer of Lizzie Mae, the meek, Edna Lee Parker is our little queen, You'll see her later on the screen. Now I'll ask you to turn to Osborne Dunn, The pal with whom Frank has his fun. Marcella Deal, during lesson ti111e, Reads books and chews gum to a rhyme. Stuart Royal is a promising boy, Studying Math is his greatest joy. Annie Walton and Floy will join the follies, To improve their grace with the Dancing Dollies. Allie Lee is as good as good can be, So she keeps on good terms with the facultee. Evangeline and Maria always keep quiet, Until some one else starts, then join the riot. E1oise's favorite pastime is wiggling, If she is not at this you will find her giggling. Rufus and Dallie like to tell jokes, Especially jokes on other folks. Lib Graham's pathway is never bumpy, But some day she's likely to find it Stumpy. We'll have to give up Gray some time, For she's sure to be lured by Cupid's Chime. We must not forget our school athleteg This gifted young 1na11 is known as Pete, Now Smutt is our flapper dame, There isn't a sheik she couldn't tame. But the best that can be written, Should be of our room teacher, Miss Britton. We admire her much, and hold her dear. We wish she could teach us again next year. One minute please, before you turn the page- There's one more Senior, who though not a sage, Is Bessie Mae Smith, the Classmate, who Has written these rhymes for you.
