The Clinton High cheerleaders under Mrs. O. Pinkney, boost the spirit of the whole Clinton High School family year-round. Through yells, chants, and cheers, spirit is generated. They are responsible for sideline entertainment during football and basketball games. The squad attends UCA Cheerleaders Camp at LSU annually. In 1983 and 1985 they won two spirit sticks and several blue ribbons for outstanding spirit. In the past the squad has had two cheerleaders slected for the United States Cheerleader Achievement award. Squad members: Front row: Sasha Rodriquez, Lora Bordelon, captain. Second row: Ayanna Collins, Gwendolyn Collins, Sheleta Lloyd, Arlana Pinkney, and Miriam Charlet.
