Language Newest addition to the language program, added this year, was Black Literature. ln keeping with the language format of allowing a variety of student choices, this was added for students interested. For the past several years the English classes have been designed to permit the widest latitude of student interest. Sophomores have limited choice but juniors and seniors can choose among 13 alternatives. Some emphasize literature, others provide opportunities in writing, but the emphasis is clearly variety.
