Mothemotics Mathematics, a varied and intricate field, is offered in a few of its many forms, to allow the students to have a better choice of courses that will help their chosen careers. Required to take at least one year of math, students have a choice of either applied math or geometry in their sophomore year. As juniors and seniors the field is opened wider and a variety of courses are offered from probability and statistics to computer programming. Language Newest addition to the language program, added this year, was Black Literature. ln keeping with the language format of allowing a variety of student choices, this was added for students interested. For the past several years the English classes have been designed to permit the widest latitude of student interest. Sophomores have limited choice but juniors and seniors can choose among 13 alternatives. Some emphasize literature, others provide opportunities in writing, but the emphasis is clearly variety.
