The Hi-Y is a religious organization affiliated with the Y.lVl.C.A. The mem- bership is limited to selected upperclassmen. This club sponsors the concession stand each year at the Clinton Invitational Basketball Tournament as a money making project. The club also sponsors the grade school tournament and one school dance. During the course of the year the Club has parties and hayrides for the mem- bers and their dates. The annual I-li-Y outing is also a set tradition with this club Mr. .Tack Richardson is sponsor and Mr. Joe Burnett is assistant sponsor of the club. OFFICERS This is the fourth year for the D.O. course which enables students to Work and attend school at the same time. The students go to school a half-day and work approzirnately a half-day. One unit or credit is received for the work and one unit for the D.O. course. This year there are thirty-nine engaged in twenty-seven assorted jobs and the average hourly pay for boys is 5.59 and for girls 5.40. These people are selected for their capability in holding the office for which they have been chosen.
