-Dedication- We, the students of Clinton Community College, dedicate Praecursor 1987 to Dean William T. Eveleth Dean Eveleth arrived at C.C.C. just ahead of the college's charter class in August in69. In the eighteen years since coming to C.C.C., he has served the college and the local community in a variety of capacities that extend beyond his college title as Dean of Student Personnel Services. Anyone attempting to list Dean Eveleth's accomplishments, positive deeds and titles will surely miss something. First, and foremost, he has served as the college's Dean of Student Personnel Services since 1969. He has been President of the Faculty-Student Association, advisor member of the Student Life Committee, Chairperson of numerous professional search committees (including four Academic Dean searches), and creator and Master of Ceremonies for the North Country's own high school quiz game Scholars for Dollars . He has served as a member of the YMCA Board, the Clinton Community College Foundation Board of Directors, and public television station WCFE-TV's Board of Directors. He is also an active member of both the Rotary and Elks Club. Dean Eveleth's community involvement is equal to his dedication and involvement with the students at Clinton Community College. Through the years, students have found him accessible, friendly, enthusiastic, interested, understand- ing and helpful. His door has always been open. It is with fondness and gratitude that we, the students, dedicate this yearbook to Dean William T. Eveleth.
