HOTEL CHAMPLAIN, 1918 2 President Light and his assistant, Mrs. Claire Goineau. Congratulations, Class of 1980. You have completed a step along the higher education road and another step on the avenue of life. You have earned the rights and privileges which will be awarded at Graduation on June 1, 1980. As you leave our College for other pursuits of life, let me remind you that your experience and your learning at Clinton Community College are but building blocks, blocks that must be used along with all your previous experiences to build for the future. As you consider your future, as you plan for experiences after you leave Clinton Community College, I remind you to use the past as a base because it is only in profiting from the experiences of the past that we continue to grow. It is only in profiting from the past that we will live a satisfying life today and at the same time build for the future. The wish of all the Clinton College Family, the Trustees, the Administrators, the Faculty and the Staff is that you will continue to experience success in the achievement of your goals. It is our wish, also, that life will be satisfying and rewarding to you, that as you progress as responsible citizens who have been served by the community, you in turn, will assist others in our community in the accom- plishment of their goals. 4 1 I NORMAN P. We started with 6 players and finished with 14, and, although the record reads 0 and 11, the CCC soccer team was a winner this year. Fourteen men contributed to the school even though 11 of them had never kicked a soccerball before. It takes real courage to participate at the college level in a sport in which one has never before performed. Clinton feels really proud of its soccer players. 72 73 «a: CHEERLEADERS 74 Wow!
