Text from Pages 1 - 98 of the 1979 volume:

TO CLINTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE High on a wooded bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Cham- plain stands a building rich in history. A former summer White House, a former Catholic seminary - how rich the heritage, how haunting the memories. Yet, our memories as students in this beloved building we call CCC are just as poignant, just as significant. Education is a ladder with many rungs and Clinton is one of our education’s most memorable ones. To our school we dedicate this yearbook - with affection, gratitude, and many lingering memories. 2 3 i'.-. . «X STUDENT LIFE 4 5 SPRING PICNIC 6 7 ORIENTATION 8 9 JUNIPER CRUISE 10 ——---------------------------------- 11 THE MEDAL lama child and I lie in a crib I play with my toes and sometimes with my green turtle. There is a medal hanging from my father’s neck and I reach for it. I am a child and I p ay with a medal. I am a child and I stand in the garden. I am taller than the weeds and I stretch for the dragonfly. The garden slopes away to a fence and the noise of a factory. It is a world I hear but that I know nothing about. I am a child and I play with dragonflies. I am a child and I have gone out into the world. I search for the door back to the garden but I can find none. It is a long time before I realize that I must go on. I am a child and I search for a door. I am a child and I am a man. I bend over the crib and the hand gropes for my medal. There are inscriptions on it and the fingers close over the story. I am a father and I care for the child. by Thomas Krampf American Poets Co-Operative Publications, Copyright 1976 Printed by Morning Star Press, Pollar Hill Road, West Whately via RFD Haydenville MA 01039. 12 13 o won ) l Mi Ul p VOM ANYTHING GOES 14 15 18 BEACH CLEAN-UP 19 You want how many?
