s m r ' - - iv ,. 1 CLINTON CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Goshen, Indiana £Z ' D. Millar THE ECHO 1973 We arrived. New, unused To be formed and arranged. We brought our talents together. And with the merging of the individual, student and faculty, boy and girl , you and I , Quiet at first, Increasing with fanniliarity , Our sound grew. Time passed . Our sound increased in intensity. Fornning respect for the individual Yet disciplining ourselves to work Within the student body. We changed, expanded, and heightened The thunder caine Trying to overpower our sound. The wind blew Confusing the voice of the sound. We had -arguments -dissention -misunderstanding But the quietness returned again. We were aiming at one purpose Together . The sound was calm, flowing, and happy. A new chord was added. Thousands of vibrations exploded. The sound vibrated as one giant Sound . Yet in all these vibrations One may find his own identity. ' pf j m ' T ' ia • To our parents: We wish to express our deep appreciation to you, our parents. The encouragement you gave us when the going got difficult, the confidence you have shown in us, the sacrifices you nnade so we could come to this school, and the example of love you showed us, have all added to our strength and happiness. Proud as we may be of our achievements, we also remain proud of you, our parents. To you we dedicate the 1973 Echo. Three week assignrr.ents for term papers characterized literature for the Jr. Class. At the end of the day , this class gets our left overs as we attempt to get our nninds to match Miss Nisly ' s lecture on pastand pre- sent worlds of fantasy. Stencils, dustmops, dippety-glass, fuel pumps, and our childhood exper- iences all came into speech class in live appearance. As we leave class each day, we learn to know each other better because we have learned to better communicate with each other.
