foam! of Qimctofw A vote of earnest gratitude is due the Board of Directors. They meet often and long to make the decisions and to do the business incumbent with operating a school. A key responsibility is providing a teaching staff, a custodian, and the physical equip- ment and facilities for a good school. A perennial task of the Board is making a bud- get that will finance the task, then reaching the proposed goal. In carrying out these responsibilities, it must sometimes make policies and set precedences. It attempts to make all decisions in the light of directives of the association they represent, the desire of the patrons, the views of the teaching staff, the good of students, and, above all, the leading of God. The Board of Directors desires and deserves the sup- port of the whole school constituency.

muh! me awe. jmtm KX ,If ,ff f ' f, fi, The Religoius Welfare committee serves the school in two areas. It examines and approves all new teachers and text- books. The committee also arranges about three special emphasis weeks through- out the year by providing guest chapel speakers and assigning the themes. The themes this year were Our Heritage, The Christian Life, a n d Youths' Con- cerns. We also express gratitude to our Janitor, Vernon Bontrager, for creating in our classrooms pleasant and healthful at- mospheres. His presence and contribution to our school is appreciated by the faculty and student body alike.
