The Juniors decorated the lodge in silver and light blue to enhance the theme “LOVE ME TO- MORROW”. The music was provided by Master Mind. After the prom, all the Juniors and Seniors attended the post prom, at the Bowl V Bun. 20 GRADUATION DAY 22 UNDERCLASSMEN SEARCH for TOMORROW 23 Sherry Abbott Kim Barnes Mandy Barnett Brad Bradshaw Derek Brant The junior class was active this year in the classroom. They were “tortured” by the teachers as they were made to read THE CRUCIBLE and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD as well as recite both the Preamble to the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. They were also ac- tive outside the class. They got their first crack at being salesmen by sell- ing magazines to raise money for the Prom. They also displayed their artis- tic talents by winning the banner competition at Homecoming that was sponsored by the Student Council. This year’s sophomores have gone through a very exciting year in their lives. Not only did they get to order their class jackets, but they also reached the magnificent age of sixteen when they received their driver’s license. The year was also highlighted by the fact that Chris Burns, a wrestler, was champion of his weight class in both the sectional and region- al. Other activities included making a Homecoming banner and decorating the halls for the boy’s sectional. Money for this was earned by working in the concession stand at athletic events. The year started out by preparing a ban- ner for the homecoming parade dur- ing football season. By buying classr- ings. Freshman showed their class spirit. The Freshman class had two money making projects and there were sponsoring a dance after a bas- ketball game and working conces- sions during athletic events. The girls placed 8th out of ten teams in the sectional with at least one swimmer in each event. Girls placing in the top six were Kim Humburg, who placed 5th in the 50 freestyle and 6th in the 100 freestyle, and the 400 relay team mentioned above also finished 5th. The team had several meets go down to the final event to determine the outcome.
