Camblos, Delegate B. Sykes, -and Delegate E. Bacon, a bill passed the General Assembly making Clinch Valley College a four-year college. Clinch Val- ley awarded its first four-year degree in 1970. The College is now in the process of expanding majors to be offered.

The Greear Gymnasium was dedicated in the fall of 1961 and the Science Building was completed in 1965. Wyllie Li- brary was finished three years later. The first new dormitory was ready for occupancy'in 1970 and a second was completed three years afterward. A greenhouse and a maintenance build- ing were constructed in 1972.
