HOME BOARD FACULTY BANQUET The annual Board Faculty Banquet was held on December 8, l958 The freshman and soph more Home Ec glrls had the honor of serving the banquet The girls,with the assistance of Mrs Vestal, their capable instructor, also planned and prepared the meal The theme of fall was carried out in decor at1ons The tables were decorated with mina ture cattails, leaves, and different fruit As favors each of the ladies present recelved a corsage of cattails, fruits, and leaves lhese corsages were very becoming and carried out the theme Co hostess for the evening were Virginia Baird and sharon Gordon X 6 Wi MOTHERS' EA The Mothers' Tea and Style Show, put on by the Home Ec classes was held on May 12, 1959 A color scheme of blue and white was carried out The mothers and friends, some one hundred, were served from a dainty tea table decor ated with a center piece of blue and white flowers around blue candles Dainty refreshments consisted of an assortment of cookies, punch and coffee Each of the girls modeled at least three projects she had made during the year The sophomore girls had a skit of do's and don't's in dressing properly This skit was carried out very affectively as Style Court' Co hostess for the tea were Sherry McCoy and Linda Chilton 'w ECONOMICS lx I - -go X 4 , is-,.
